Who We Are

Grupo Cibao is an independent Ibero-American think tank dedicated to cultivating a more resilient Ibero-America. We provide the technical architecture and critical knowledge required to lead the region’s long-term transition toward sustainable prosperity.

With a solid foundation in empirical rigor and strategic foresight, we present ourselves as an Ibero-American institute that promotes balanced dialogue among international approaches, fostering a more inclusive and multipolar global architecture in which diverse voices and regions contribute to the international order from a place of mutual respect and cooperation.

Eco-Sovereignty
We affirm the right of nations and regions to govern their natural, economic, and technological assets without external dependence or coercion. Territorial autonomy is the foundation of political independence.
Multivector Commitment
We cultivate diversified partnerships across multiple geopolitical poles — avoiding bloc alignment in favor of strategic autonomy and mutual benefit among Ibero-American nations.

Our Mission

The mission of Grupo Cibao is to advance the technological, academic, and economic sovereignty of Latin America through balanced international collaboration, challenging the structural conditions that perpetuate unipolar dominance. We transform empirical data into action frameworks for sustainable development, focusing on resilient economies and efficient governance systems that balance human progress with ecosystem preservation.

Central Priorities

Strategic Pillars

01
Strengthen Ibero-American Resilience
We foster networks of mutual support, knowledge exchange, and policy coordination in Ibero-America, with the aim of strengthening regional capacities and promoting greater decision-making autonomy, in complementarity with the learnings and experiences of other regions.
02
Deepen Regional and International Cooperation
We design multi-stakeholder platforms and institutional frameworks that foster sustainable collaboration in Ibero-America and beyond — replacing charity-based approaches with high-impact technical partnerships.
03
Expand the Global Alliances of Iberoamerica
We cultivate diversified diplomatic, academic, and economic ties with both emerging and established powers, positioning Ibero-America as an indispensable actor in a multipolar world order.

Areas of Strategic Intervention

We design systemic transformation frameworks that integrate ecosystem resilience, human capital, and regional economic sovereignty.

01
Ecosystem Restoration
We develop technical frameworks and restoration methodologies. We deliver the strategic architecture required for local stakeholders to implement projects that meet global resilience standards.
02
Education & Strategic Capital
We transfer critical knowledge in financial intelligence and governance. We develop the analytical capabilities necessary for regional leaders to manage their own autonomy.
03
Agrifood Systems
We optimize production systems through data analysis. We define models of efficiency and technical agroecology that guarantee the producer's profitability and sovereignty
04
Leadership & Governance
We generate research for structural advocacy. We provide strategic counsel on public policy design and build technical capacity to navigate complex territorial dynamics.
05
Social Heritage
We conceptualize local knowledge as an economic asset. We establish management frameworks that integrate culture and heritage into strategic regional development plans.
06
Cooperation & Transference
We structure multi-stakeholder capacity-building platforms. We design an institutional synergy model that replaces paternalism with a high-impact technical collaboration network.
